The 7th Peer Learning Platform took place on 14 June 2022 in Brussels, Belgium on “Voluntary National Reviews: Challenges, Successes and Lessons Learned”.
The Platform was organized in cooperation with European Environment and Sustainable Development Advisory Councils Network (EEAC Network). The goal was to offer national level policymakers in Europe the chance to exchange and learn from countries that have already done their second VNR, and it also focused on the European Union’s VNR for 2023, as this is the first such report the EU will be conducting.
All ESDN Peer Learning Platforms operate under the Chatham House rules, so no names are used and no presentations made available outside of the Platform. However, a Platform Report does provide an accurate account of topics discussed during the Platform.
A look at the history of the ESDN reveals that ESDN Peer Learning Platforms have played a prominent role in facilitating policy learning between European policymakers dealing with sustainable development.
