Sustainable development requires the involvement of young people into all decisions on sustainability and their implementation. But Youth sometimes faces a lack of opportunities, not enough knowledge about processes or they feel that their involvement is just symbolic.
This ESDN Policy Brief provides recommendations on how to involve Youth Representatives in the policy making process. They are based on interviews the ESDN Office conducted with European Youth Representatives for SD and on discussions at the second ESDN Youth Workshop.
