UN DESA Webinar: Integrating the 2030 Agenda into national plans and strategies: Considering COVID-19 response and recovery

The webinar will take place May 12th, 9am-11am EST (3pm-5pm CEST) and May 14th, 9am-11am EST (3pm-5pm CEST)

The 2030 Agenda calls on all states to develop practical national responses on implementing the SDGs. While many countries have made progress on integrating the Agenda into their national strategies, major gaps and challenges remain. The global health crisis related to the Sars-Cov2 Virus has exacerbated some of these challenges. It has deeply affected societies and economies and threatens to reverse developmental gains that have been achieved in recent years.

The aim of the webinar is to identify good practices and approaches for the integration of the 2030 Agenda into national development plans, national sustainable development strategies, and related instruments, taking into account the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the capacity of countries to implement the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development.
