This mission of foresters is based on three main pillars that perfectly correspond to the functions of the forest. The ecological pillar is the environmental function, which means protecting plants, animals, clean air, and water. The financial pillar is the economic function, which focuses on harvesting wood wisely without destroying nature. Finally, the human pillar is the social function, thanks to which forests are a safe place for recreation, walking, and education for all of us
