Virtual Climate Run 2026: Climate Action Anywhere
Run, walk or roll for the climate from anywhere. Every recorded distance helps protect forests and supports a social climate protection project.
The Virtual Climate Run enables people to take part in climate action wherever they are. Participants can run, walk or roll at a time and place of their choice between 16 and 26 September 2026.
Every recorded distance helps protect valuable forest ecosystems, while part of the participation fee supports a social climate protection project. Through shared participation and social media engagement, the event raises awareness for climate action and sustainable lifestyles.
The Virtual Climate Run contributes particularly to SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 15 (Life on Land).
Der Virtual Climate Run ermöglicht es Menschen, unabhängig von ihrem Standort aktiv zum Klimaschutz beizutragen. Zwischen dem 16. und 26. September 2026 können die Teilnehmer:innen laufen, gehen oder rollen, wann und wo sie möchten.
Jede dokumentierte Strecke trägt zum Schutz wertvoller Waldökosysteme bei, während ein Teil des Nenngeldes ein soziales Klimaschutzprojekt unterstützt. Durch die gemeinsame Teilnahme und die Sichtbarkeit in sozialen Medien schafft die Aktion Bewusstsein für Klimaschutz und nachhaltige Lebensstile.
Der Virtual Climate Run leistet insbesondere einen Beitrag zu SDG 13 (Maßnahmen zum Klimaschutz) und SDG 15 (Leben an Land).
