TechTour Forest Bioeconomy 2026
TechTour Forest Bioeconomy 2026 brings together selected start-ups, scale-ups, investors and industry partners from across Europe to advance innovation in the forest-based bioeconomy.
Tech Tour is an ecosystem of selected European entrepreneurs, investors and strategic partners who work together to promote investment, support companies in scaling up, and turn forward-looking innovations into globally applicable solutions.
On 5 and 6 October 2026, Tech Tour Forest Bioeconomy 2026 will take place in Graz, hosted as part of the Bioeconomy Austria Summit 2026. Selected start-ups and scale-ups will have the opportunity to present their solutions and innovations to leading investors and industry partners. The goal of the event is to give visibility to innovative companies along the forest-based bioeconomy value chain and connect them with corporate investors, venture capitalists and industry partners. Participating start-ups and scale-ups will also be able to discuss their technologies with experts and explore investment prospects.
A total of 24 selected start-ups, along with more than 30 investors and industry partners from across Europe, are participating. Companies were able to apply in five thematic areas: Sustainable Forestry & Wood Tech; Wood-Based and Biobased construction; Bio-based Materials, Chemicals and Industrial Applications; Wood-Based Textiles and Consumer Products; Circular Use of Wood, Biomass and Bioenergy; and Forest and Ecosystem Monitoring.
Tech Tour ist ein Zusammenschluss ausgewählter europäischer Unternehmer:innen, Investor:innen und strategischer Partner:innen, die gemeinsam Investitionen fördern, Unternehmen bei ihrer Skalierung unterstützen und zukunftsweisende Innovationen in global einsetzbare Lösungen überführen.
Am 5. und 6. Oktober 2026 findet der Tech Tour Forest Bioeconomy 2026 in Graz statt – veranstaltet im Rahmen des Bioeconomy Austria Summits 2026. Ausgewählte Start-ups und Scale-ups erhalten die Möglichkeit, ihre Lösungen und Innovationen vor führenden Investor:innen und Industriepartnern zu präsentieren. Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es, innovative Unternehmen entlang der forstbasierten Bioökonomie sichtbar zu machen und sie mit Unternehmensinvestor:innen, Risikokapitalgeber:innen und der Industrie zu vernetzen. Die teilnehmenden Start- und Scale-ups erhalten zudem die Möglichkeit, ihre Technologien mit Expert:innen zu diskutieren und Investitionsperspektiven auszuloten.
Insgesamt nehmen 24 ausgewählte Start-ups sowie mehr als 30 Investor:innen und Industriepartner:innen aus ganz Europa teil. Bewerben konnten sich Unternehmen in sechs thematischen Bereichen: Sustainable Forestry & Wood Tech; holz- und biobasierte Bau- und Materiallösungen; bio-basierte Chemikalien und industrielle Anwendungen; Textilien und Konsumprodukte aus Holz; zirkuläre Nutzung von Holz, Biomasse und Bioenergie; sowie Forest & Ecosystem Monitoring.
