Junge Ideen für Österreichs Zukunft: Preisverleihung des SIA 2026
Am 7. Oktober ist es so weit: Wir küren die Gewinner:innen des Social Impact Award 2026 und laden dieses Jahr an einen ganz besonderen Ort ein.
Ten young teams. Ten fresh ideas for Austria’s future. Ten solutions to societal challenges and an evening dedicated to social impact in Austria: On October 7, 2026, the winning projects of the 2026 Social Impact Award will be announced.
The focus of the evening will be on the ten finalists of the Social Impact Award Austria. Their ideas demonstrate just how diverse social innovation can be. From improving access to the job market for migrants to supporting multilingual and multilingual children, to new approaches to dementia prevention.
For three months, the teams worked intensively on their ideas, refined their business models, exchanged ideas with mentors, and—during three intensive workshop weekends—delved into topics such as mission, communication, community building, and pitching.
Now comes the moment they’ve been working toward for the past few months: the final pitches. Along with the Social Impact Award, the winning teams will receive pre-seed funding and a ticket to the international SIA Summit in Montenegro.
Who will win over the jury with their final pitch and take home one of the 2026 Social Impact Awards?
An evening for the Austrian impact ecosystem
The award ceremony isn’t just the culmination of the Social Impact Award incubation program. It brings together people who are driving social innovation in Austria.
State Secretary Elisabeth Zehetner will be present in person and will address a few words to the guests and finalists. In addition, we expect members of our community as well as a total of around 80 key players from the impact ecosystem.
The Program
4:00–5:00 p.m. | Project Marketplace
Meet all ten finalists in person, discover their solutions, and talk directly with the teams.
5:00–6:30 p.m. | Award Ceremony
Pitches, keynote speeches, musical entertainment, and the answer to the question of the evening: Who will win the 2026 Social Impact Award?
The audience will also play a part in the decision and will collectively award ten hours of consulting services from Kompassberatung, valued at X, to one of the teams.
Starting at 6:30 p.m. | Reception & Networking
Afterward, we’ll celebrate the finalists and winners together with catering, drinks, and musical accompaniment in the festive setting of the Marmorsaal. Above all, there will be plenty of time to meet new people, deepen existing connections, and spark ideas for future collaboration.

Zehn junge Teams. Zehn junge Ideen für Österreichs Zukunft. Zehn Lösungen für gesellschaftliche Herausforderungen und ein Abend für Social Impact in Österreich: Am 7. Oktober 2026 werden die Gewinner:innen-Projekte des Social Impact Award 2026 gekürt.
Im Mittelpunkt des Abends stehen die zehn Finalist des Social Impact Award Österreich. Ihre Ideen zeigen, wie vielfältig gesellschaftliche Innovation aussehen kann. Von besserem Arbeitsmarktzugang für Migrant:innen über die Förderung mehr- und vielsprachiger Kinder bis hin zu neuen Ansätzen der Demenzprävention.
Drei Monate lang haben die Teams intensiv an ihren Ideen gearbeitet, ihre Geschäftsmodelle geschärft, sich mit Mentor:innen ausgetauscht und sich bei drei intensiven Workshop-Wochenenden unter anderem mit Mission, Kommunikation, Community Building und Pitching auseinandergesetzt.
Jetzt kommt der Moment, auf den sie die letzten Monate hingearbeitet haben: Die finalen Pitches. Für die Gewinner:innen-Teams gibt es mit dem Social Impact Award auch Pre-Seed-Funding und ein Ticket zum internationalen SIA Summit in Montenegro.

Ein Abend für das österreichische Impact Ökosystem
Die Award Ceremony ist nicht nur der Abschluss des Inkubationsprogramms von Social Impact Award. Sie bringt Menschen zusammen, die gesellschaftliche Innovation in Österreich ermöglichen.
Staatssekretärin Elisabeth Zehetner wird persönlich anwesend sein und einige Worte an die Gäste und Finalist:innen richten. Darüber hinaus erwarten wir Mitglieder unserer Community sowie insgesamt rund 80 relevante Akteur:innen aus dem Impact Ökosystem.

16:00–17:00 Uhr | Marktplatz der Projekte
Lerne alle zehn Finalists persönlich kennen, entdecke ihre Lösungen und komm direkt mit den Teams ins Gespräch.
17:00–18:30 Uhr | Award Ceremony
Pitches, Impulse, musikalische Begleitung und Antwort auf die Frage des Abends: Wer gewinnt einen Social Impact Award 2026?
Auch das Publikum wird Teil der Entscheidung und vergibt gemeinsam zehn Beratungsstunden von Kompassberatung im Wert von X an eines der Teams.
Ab 18:30 Uhr | Empfang & Networking
Im Anschluss feiern wir die Finalist:innen und Gewinner:innen gemeinsam bei Catering, Drinks und musikalischer Begleitung im festlichen Rahmen des Marmorsaals. Vor allem soll dabei Zeit bleiben, um neue Menschen kennenzulernen, bestehende Kontakte zu vertiefen und Ideen für zukünftige Zusammenarbeit entstehen zu lassen.
