From paper to paper
The “From Paper to Paper” workshop is designed for a preschool group of children aged 4 to 6. During the workshop, they will learn how to make new paper from old paper and, in doing so, contribute to
With the help of volunteers, the children will have the opportunity to turn old paper into new paper!
First, they will tear used paper into small pieces, enough to fill a yoghurt cup. The paper will then be blended with water to create a paper pulp. The children will spread the mixture evenly into a paper-making mould and use a sponge to press out the excess water and shape the paper.
The paper will then be left to air-dry for at least 24 hours. Once dry, the children will be able to write an environmental message on their new piece of paper.
Od starog papira djeca će, uz pomoć volontera, imati priliku napraviti novi!
Najprije će korišteni papir natrgati na sitne komadiće, u količini dovoljnoj da napune čašu od jogurta. Zatim će se papir u blenderu pomiješati s vodom kako bi nastala papirnata kaša. Dobivenu smjesu djeca će ravnomjerno rasporediti u kalup za izradu papira te je utapkavanjem spužvicom ocijediti i oblikovati.
Papir će se potom sušiti na zraku najmanje 24 sata. Nakon što se osuši, djeca će na svoj novi papir moći napisati poruku vezanu uz očuvanje okoliša.
