From Food Waste to a Sustainable Future – Sustainable Development Goals in Action
Each team will focus on one goal: Goal 4 – Quality Education, Goal 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production, Goal 13 – Climate Action, or Goal 15 – Life on Land

As part of the international eTwinning project “Don’t Throw It Away, Plant It!”, students from six partner schools will collaborate in international teams to explore the connections between food waste, soil, plants and the Sustainable Development Goals.
Each team will focus on one goal: Goal 4 – Quality Education, Goal 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production, Goal 13 – Climate Action, or Goal 15 – Life on Land. Students will explore the meaning of their assigned goal, connect it to real-life challenges and propose concrete actions that schools and students can take to contribute to its achievement.
Students will present their findings in digital cards and presentations in English. Together, they will create the infographic “From Food Waste to a Sustainable Future” and an international digital quiz. Special attention will be given to Goal 12, with students exploring ways to reduce food waste and use natural resources more responsibly.
Through this activity, students will develop research, digital, communication and collaboration skills and be encouraged to turn their knowledge into concrete action for a more sustainable future.
