Discover local knowledge, sustainable farming practices and local products in Iracoubo through a local market event and a visit to a local producer.
As part of the European Sustainable Development Week, the French Guiana Regional Natural Park (PNRG) is organising a day in Iracoubo dedicated to discovering local know-how, sustainable practices and local products. The programme includes a morning presence at the local market, followed by an afternoon visit to Mamaribo to meet a local producer and discover farming practices and the processing and promotion of local products.
Dans le cadre de la Semaine européenne du développement durable, le Parc naturel régional de la Guyane propose une journée à Iracoubo consacrée à la découverte et à la valorisation des savoir-faire locaux et des pratiques durables. La matinée sera consacrée à une présence au marché local, permettant de mettre en valeur les productions et initiatives du territoire. L’après-midi, une visite à Mamaribo permettra de découvrir une exploitation locale, ses pratiques agricoles ainsi que la transformation et la valorisation de ses productions. Cette journée vise à sensibiliser le public à une consommation plus responsable, à la valorisation des ressources locales et au développement durable du territoire.
