European Sustainable Development Week 2026 – From Alignment to Science: Discover, Learn, Experience
Bringing gifted BİLSEM students together with science and sustainability during orientation week, our event takes place on 15-19 September 2026 in partnership with BBGNight-TR and Kayseri Science Cent
The "From Orientation to Science: Discover, Learn, Experience" event is a comprehensive educational and science festival that integrates the orientation week for newly enrolled gifted students at BİLSEM with the principles of scientific research, innovation, and sustainability.
Organized in partnership with the Horizon Europe MSCA-supported BBGNight-TR (Researchers' Night Turkey) initiative and in collaboration with the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Kayseri Science Center (Science Truck), this event will take place in three main sessions between September 15 and 19, 2026.
As part of the event, students and parents will participate in interactive demonstration experiments, mobile science truck workshops, robotics coding activities, and meetings with researchers, all centered around six key themes: Climate & Sustainability, Water & Oceans, Biodiversity & Nature, Artificial Intelligence & Future Technologies, Citizen Science, and STEAM & Creativity.
The primary objective of the event is to foster environmental awareness and a culture of sustainability among gifted children at an early age, encourage a spirit of inquiry, and raise societal awareness through the active participation of families.
"Uyumdan Bilime: Keşfet, Öğrenim, Deneyimle" etkinliği, BİLSEM'e yeni kayıt yaptıran özel yeteneklilerin uyum haftasını bilimsel araştırma, yenilik ve sürdürülebilirlik hizmetleriyle buluşturan özet bir eğitim ve bilim şenliğidir.
Horizon Europe MSCA destekli BBGNight-TR (Türkiye araştırmacıları Gecesi) girişiminin girişimi ve Kayseri Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kayseri Bilim Merkezi (Bilim Tırı) iş birliğiyle ortaya çıkıyor bu organizasyon; 15-19 Eylül 2026 tarihleri arasında kayıtlı olan 3 ana kayıt halinde yürütülecektir.
Etkinlik kapsamındaki detaylar ve velilerimiz; İklim & Sürdürülebilirlik, Su & Okyanuslar, Biyoçeşitlilik & Doğa, Yapay Zekâ & Geleceğin Teknolojileri, Vatandaş Bilimi ile STEAM & Yaratıcılık olmak üzere 6 temel tema çerçevesinde etkileşimli gösteri deneylerine, mobil bilim tırı atölyelerine, robotik çözülme uygulamalarına ve araştırmacıların buluşmalarına katılacaktır.
Etkinliğin temel amacı; Özel yetenekli çocukların erken yaşta çevre bilincini ve sürdürülebilirliğini oluşturmak, araştırmacı eğitimini desteklemek ve ailelerin de katılımıyla toplumsal üretimi arttırmaktır.
