Ecumenical Prayer Service for the Season of Creation
Bringing churches together in Dublin to mark the Season of Creation 2026
This is an ecumenical prayer service which will bring churches of various Christian denominations together to mark the Season of Creation 2026. The theme of the prayer service is 'Living Water', and the service will celebrate the gift of water as well as drawing attention to issues around our use/management of water and marine ecosystems, including pollution, overconsumption, overfishing, etc. 'Living Water' is also the theme for the Season of Creation more broadly; this is a time when churches throughout the world bring attention to the importance of caring for the earth. It runs from 1 September to 4 October each year.
The service will include prayers from different Christian churches across the world. The liturgy has been adapted from materials provided in the Season of Creation Celebration Guide 2026.

An téama a bheidh againn don tseirbhís seo ná 'Uisce Beo' - sin an téama do Shéasúr na nDúl ar an mórgóir.
