Cooking APAS Cakes

Planet Gaia is pregnant, just about to give birth to baby micro-planets in the Solar System, with the help of Humankind who is developing the technology to do so, but not yet aware of what it is doing, still spending most of its energy waging stupid wars and obsolete finance games. Time has come to engage in our renaissance with new activities. Central in our human activities is feeding ourselves, and cooking our food, all over Planet Earth.

There are already cultural connections between cooking and technology, for instance with the Paris-Brest cake, created in 1891 by pastry chef Louis Durand, at the request of Pierre Giffard, founder of the Paris-Brest-Paris cycle race. The idea was to design a pastry as a tribute to this endurance event. Hence the circular shape of the Paris-Brest cake, reminiscent of a bicycle wheel.

In 1975, Vladimir Syromiatnikov stopped the Cold War with the Apollo-Soyuz encounter and today, in their kitchen, cooks of the all cultures in the whole world could make cakes in the shape of the symbolic APAS docking system, as a tasty artful way to tell families, friends, and their communities that time has come for the industries of all nations to unite to prepare our future.

The view and the taste of the APAS Cake for peace could engage space and defense industries in all countries of our world to join up to manufacture together the first babies of planet Earth, like Island Zero of Jerry Stone and Volodia Ring of Reunion Island Space Initiative.
