Community Based Climate Innovation Course
The Community Climate Innovation Course is a community-based climate education programme designed to build local capacity for climate action through systems thinking, collaboration, and innovation.
Led by Trinity College Dublin and Munster Technological University (MTU) through the IKC3 Project, and delivered in partnership with Monaghan County Council, the Community Climate Innovation Course offers a unique opportunity for individuals, community groups, businesses and local leaders to become catalysts for positive change. Participants will engage with leading experts, collaborate with like-minded peers, and gain practical tools to turn climate ambitions into meaningful local action. The programme will take place in Monaghan Town, County Monaghan's designated Decarbonising Zone, providing a real-world setting in which participants can explore innovative approaches to reducing emissions, enhancing community resilience, and supporting the transition to a low-carbon future. This project is funded by the DZ Demonstrator Fund supported by the Government of Ireland.
