A week of SDG-focused learning and community engagement for migrant and refugee students, promoting sustainability, inclusion, integration and active participation in Maltese society.
Classrooms and Communities: Sustainable Action Days at Blue Door Education” re-imagines adult education as a tool for sustainable development. Throughout the themed week, daily language and life-skills classes for migrant and refugee students will integrate the UN SDGs with practical sustainability topics relevant to everyday life in Malta. Sessions will explore environmental awareness, waste reduction, recycling, energy saving, and civic participation.
By combining language learning with sustainability and civic awareness, the initiative empowers new residents to actively participate in and contribute to a more inclusive and sustainable Maltese society.
