Österreich engagiert sich bereits seit Jahrzehnten im Bereich der Nachhaltigen Entwicklung. Seit 2013 ist Nachhaltige Entwicklung verfassungsrechtlich als Staatsziel verankert. Mit 192 weiteren Staaten bekennt sich Österreich zur Agenda 2030 der Vereinten Nationen mit ihren 17 Nachhaltigen Entwicklungszielen (SDGs). Damit verpflichtet sich Österreich auf regionaler, nationaler und globaler Ebene die SDGs bis 2030 umzusetzen und eine regelmäßige nationale Überprüfung der Fortschritte vorzunehmen. For decades, Austria has been taking action in the field of sustainable development. Since 2013, sustainable development is enshrined in the Austrian constitution as a national objective. Together with 192 other countries, Austria is also committed to the United Nation’s 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In doing so, Austria pledges to implement the SDGs regionally, nationally and globally by 2030 and to conduct regular national reviews on progress.
