Mechanisms of Horizontal Integration

Horizontal integration refers to the collaboration between the different ministries and administrative bodies on the national level for the delivery of SD policies. In this section you will find information about how the different countries tackle the challenge of horizontal integration. The available country profiles cover in particular the following aspects:

Provisions and measures for integrating various sectoral policies; and
Overview of institutions (commission, councils, etc) set up in order to increase collaboration between ministries.
